In this chapter, we study the conjugation of the verb Leeyahay = "to have, to possess". It must not be confused with Hayn that also means "to have".
What distinguishes them is that while Hayn applies to tangible objects, things that can be touched or held in hand, for example: a book, a ball, a phone, a watch, a pen, etc., Leeyahay applies to intangible things, for example, family, or even a car or a house, that cannot be held in hand.
The verb Leeyahay is formed by the particle Lee = "idea of possession, with" + the irregular verb Yahay.
It does not conjugate in progressive forms (Present Progressive, Past Progressive).
The infinitive of this verb is LAHAAN.
