In this chapter, we study the conjugation of the irregular verb Aqoonso = to know, to recognize. In some grammars, it can also be found under the infinitive YIQIIN.
As in the majority of languages, "irregular" verbs are among the most commonly used verbs in daily life.
This verb has the particularity of having subject prefixes in the Past and Present General, in addition to or instead of the usual marks of tense, number, and person suffixed at the end of the verb.
Due to the similarity in meaning, the verb Aqoonso = to know, to recognize, is often confused with the verb Ogid = to know, to realize.
We provide the conjugation of the verb Ogid at the end of this chapter; also not to be confused with the verb Ogaysin = to inform!
